It was recommended and I never looked back
I'm new to gun ownership but not so new when it comes to research. When I purchased my first handgun (Kimber 1911) I was given a small sample pouch of FP-1 CLP. No clue what it was and tucked it in the case. I went to the Kimber site ordered their cleaning kit and lo and behold there was a can of FP-10 CLP with it. After going through about 2000 rounds in 6 mos, this cleaning product has been a time saver. The ability to clean and lubricate simultaneously while also removing copper from the barrel is a game changer. I haven't even considered another product and use is solely on my ever expanding (don't tell my wife) collection of firearms.
Good lube but...
Great lube, but I was they made it in other sizes also like an 8 oz and 16 oz tin cans, also the black and gold tin cans looked better as far as branding goes, I don't know why they changed it.
