SHOOTER'S
CHOICE IS THE CHOICE OF OLYMPIANS:
A cross section of the best marksmen in the world assembled at
the Wolf Creek Olympic Shooting Complex for the Centennial Olympic
Games in Atlanta.
World
class shooters, regardless of ethnic background, gender or shooting
discipline, have one thing in common -- a fanatical degree of
care for their firearms. Rifles, pistols and even the trap and
skeet shooters' shotguns were cleaned before and even during Olympic
qualifying rounds and again before the finals. Those who dedicate
their lives to the pursuit of ballistic accuracy know that a gun's
full potential is only achievable with a sanitary bore.
The
Olympic competitors also had another thing in common. Shooter's
Choice MC7 Bore Cleaner was the overwhelming choice of bore solvent
at Wolf Creek. Yes, Shooter's Choice -- the same product available
on dealers' shelves -- was virtually the consensus choice of the
world's best shooters.

PROFESSIONALS
RECOGNIZE THE DIFFERENCE:
Just as a race car needs a clean track to achieve its highest
potential speed, ammunition needs a clean barrel in order to show
its true worth. Professionals in the ammunition and firearms field
recognize that fact and use the best possible product to achieve
that "clean track."
If
you take a tour of the Federal Cartridge Company's plant in Anoka,
Minnesota ( or virtually any other company's range) you'll find
that all of the firearms used in the ammunition test ranges are
cleaned often. And that cleaning is done with Shooter's Choice
MC-7 Bore Solvent.
The
Shooter's Choice line of gun care products are universally recognized
as the best available for the serious shooter, hunter and collector.

SHOOTER'S
CHOICE SUPPORTED DESERT STORM:
Early desert maneuvers during Operation Desert Shield in Saudi
Arabia uncovered a problem for American troops. The sand and microscopic
sand dust changed the tolerances in their M-16A rifles and caused
malfunctions.
The
cleaner and lubricant supplied to the troops was not adequately
maintaining the weapons under the desert conditions.
"We
started getting calls and letters from troops stationed in the
Gulf, mostly guys who qualified as expert marksmen or who were
competitive shooters and who were familiar with our products,"
said Joe Ventimiglia, president of Shooter's choice gun care products.
"They said they were sure that Shooter's Choice would work
and begged us to get some to the military."
After
extensive research and testing, Shooter's Choice was convinced
their products would solve the problems. With a potential ground
war looming and thousands of lives at stake, Ventimiglia saw no
time to solicit a sales contract with the Pentagon. Instead he
donated thousands of bottles of Shooter's Choice MC#7 bore cleaner
and conditioner and an equal number of aerosol cans of Shooter's
Choice Quick Scrub cleaner-degreaser and shipped them to Saudi
Arabia.
The
shipment arrived prior to the ground action of Desert Storm and
was met with overwhelming approval by the troops.
In
March 1993 the Pentagon sent Ventimiglia a note of gratitude stating
that Shooter's Choice's "selfless actions...contributed not
only to the personal well-being and morale of our troops but also
to the success of our mission."

BORE
CLEANER AND CONDITIONER:
Shooter's Choice MC#7 Bore Cleaner and Conditioner is unique
among firearms cleaning solvents due to the variety of tasks
it performs. MC7 is the only product on the market today capable
of totally cleaning a bore of all deposits and fouling in one
step.
MC7
effectively dissolves and removes powder, lead, plastic wad and
copper fouling, carbon deposits and corrosion. Used regularly
it works as a barrel conditioner that minimizes fouling, is non-corrosive
and safer to use than harsh ammonias and abrasives. MC7 also helps
lubricate and maintain firearm bores for maximum performance and
longer barrel life.

SOLVING
COPPER FOULING PROBLEM:
Copper or other gilded metal fouling is a common yet serious problem
in modern firearms, particularly when using loads faster than
3,000 feet per second.
Immediate
and thorough cleaning of rifle and pistol bores after using copper-jacketed
ammo is essential, both to protect your investment and to assure
future accuracy. But how does one know when a bore is thoroughly
cleansed of copper residue?
By
using the most effective copper solvent available. The experts
at Ventco Industries, makers of Shooter's Choice gun care products,
suggest you try a simple test.
Take
two copper-plated washers. Coat one liberally with Shooter's Choice
Copper Remover and the other with a similar amount of any other
copper solvent on the market.
Note
which one turns blue (dissolves all the copper) fastest. There
are several excellent copper solvents on the market but none work
as quickly or as thoroughly as Shooter's Choice Copper Remover.

increases lubricity between metal surfaces and moving parts with
no build-up or changes in tolerances. Made of unique petrochemical
ingredients and no synthetics, FP-10 Lubricant Elite has a temperature
range of -76 degrees to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
In
the laboratory and in the field FP-10 Lubricant Elite has beaten
all competitive brands by wide margins.

FP-10
LUBRICANT ELITE HEADS THE FIELD:
Recoil stress and wear from extreme pressure caused by ignition
and cycling are the two most detrimental forces at work in a firearm.
Very few lubricants can offer the necessary film strength needed
to even minimize wear to acceptable levels.
In
many firearms this fact is expressed by the manufacturer's service
life, which varies with caliber, factory load and materials used
in manufacturing. The data is also gained from actual test firings
using lubricants authorized by the government in accordance with
federal testing.
Tested
under these circumstances, Shooter's Choice FP-10 Lubricant Elite
has been found to be the only lubricant that can enormously exceed
these requirements and easily double, if not triple, the actual
service life of the weapon due to its ability to virtually eliminate
wear and buffer shock.

FP-10
OUTPERFORMS ALL COMPETITORS:
More than 30 of the top-selling firearms lubricants on the market
were recently tested under controlled laboratory conditions. Each
was tested for 60 seconds under 266.5 pound of roll to ring pressure
to determine how well they protected against wear.
The
method of measurement devised to indicate wear consisted of measuring
the length and width of a wear mark on the metal each product
protected. Those dimenstions were then multiplied by 1,000 to
get an index number.
Shooter
Choice FP-10 Lubricant Elite easily outperformed everything on
the market by a substantial margin. The wear marks found when
FP-10 was used earned a wear index of .9 compared the others,
which ranged from 3.2 to 102.9.

FP-10
LUBRICANT ELITE IS THE ANSWER FOR STAINLESS STEEL:
Galling and excessive wear have become major problems in the firearms
industry with the increased use of stainless steel for barrels
and receivers. The high chromium content gives stainless steel
a much softer nature and makes it more susceptible to wear.
But
Shooter's Choice FP-10 Lubricant Elite is the only proven solution
to the problem of galling and excessive wear in stainless steel.
FP-10's reaction to stainless has revolutionized the industry
to where those problems are virtually non-existent when the Shooter's
Choice product is used.
Tightly
fitted (accurized) guns are now being built entirely of stainless
steel and can be fit with tolerances of less than .003 inches
(slide to frame fit) without any danger of galling or faulty operation
when using FP-10 as the lubricating oil.

LEAD
REMOVER:
Shooter's Choice Lead Remover quickly and safely removes lead,
powder and carbon fouling from the barrels of all handguns, rifles
and shotguns without the potentially harmful use of harsh abrasives.
Shooter's
Choice Lead Remover is particularly effective in removing lead
fouling because of the inclusion of MT-10 Metal Treatment in the
formula. Because of this agent, which is also included in Shooter's
Choice FP-10 Lubricant Elite, cleaning time is reduced dramatically.
Shooter's
Choice Lead Remover is just another reason that the Shooter's
Choice line of gun care products is the first choice among industry
professionals and serious sportsmen everywhere.

NEW
LEAD REMOVER IDEAL FOR PISTOLS, RIMFIRES, SLUG BARRELS:
Although shotcups have pretty much eliminated lead fouling from
shotgun barrels, slug shooters know that conventional slugs can
and do foul barrels very quickly. And pistol or rimfire shooters
also know the toll that lead fouling can take on a barrel.
Ventco
Industries' newest product, Shooter's Choice Lead Remover, works
faster and easier on lead fouling than any other product on the
market. While Shooter's Choice MC-7 bore cleaner is formulated
to remove lead, it must also remove plastic and guilded metal
fouling. Shooter's Choice Lead Remover is a specialized product
designed to work faster in one area and thus more efficiently.
When
applied, Shooter's Choice Lead Remover dissolves carbon and penetrates
under lead to station itself between the fouling and the barrel
walls so that the fouling can be easily removed with a brush.

THOROUGH
CLEANING WITHOUT AMMONIA -- XTREME CLEAN:
Ammonia has long been a staple ingredient in bore solvents due
to its effectiveness in dissolving copper fouling from barrels.
But it has been found that improper application of these solvents
can result in the ammonia etching the metal in the bore.
"The
recent controversy sent us back to our chemists to find a way
to manufacture an ammonia-free product," said firearms expert
and Shooter's Choice president Joe Ventimiglia. "The answer
is Xtreme Clean bore and action cleaner - the first truly effective
ammonia-free product to hit the market.
"Xtreme
Clean is not only effective in dissolving copper, lead, carbon,
powder and gilded metal fouling without the potential harmful
effects on the bore but is also very easy to use because it's
an aerosol.

SHOOTER'S
CHOICE INTRODUCES AMMONIA-FREE XTREME CLEAN:
The recent controversy over ammonia's potential for damaging barrels
sent bore solvent manufacturers scurrying to find a solution and
Shooter's Choice is the first with an answer.
Shooter's
Choice Xtreme Clean bore and action cleaner is the first truly
effective ammonia-free product on the market. The new easy-to-use
aerosol quickly removes copper, lead, carbon and powder fouling
quickly without harsh abrasives or potentially harmful chemicals.
When
properly used, bore cleaners containing ammonia are very effective.
But it has been concluded that careless application of these products
can result in the ammonia etching the metal in the bore. Ammonia-free
Xtreme Clean is not only safe and effective but also serves to
season the bore against future fouling buildup and prolongs barrel
life.
Xtreme
Clean bore and action cleaner is now available from dealers of
high quality gun care products now.

QUICK
SCRUB III EVOLVES AS BEST DEGREASER:
Shooter's Choice gun care products are ranked No. 1 in the world
among high performance cleaning solvents, lubricants and corrosion
inhibitors. This top ranking brings with it some heavy responsibility.
Shooter's
Choice must constantly be searching for the very best qualities
that today's technology has to offer. And our newest product,
Quick Scrub III Cleaner/Degreaser is the result of that constant
search. As you know December of 1995 marked a turning point in
the chemical industry when the federal government banned the production
of 1-1-1 Trichloroethane, a fluorocarbon propellant used as a
principal agent in all cleaner/degreasers. Starting in the early
1990s, Shooter's Choice chemists worked for nearly two years to
find a suitable replacement for 1-1-1 Trichlor -- one that wasn't
flammable, water-based or slow to evaporate. In October 1995,
two months before the federal ban was finalized, Shooter's Choice
introduced Quick Scrub II, featuring a safe, efficient replacement
for 1-1-1 Trichloroethane. Quick Scrub II proved to be far superior
to other cleaner/degreasers rushed to the market after the ban.
But
Shooter's Choice didn't rest on its laurels. Always looking for
improvement, the company's chemists kept researching and the result
is Quick Scrub III -- which not only effectively dissolves and
flushes dirt, oil, grease, powder fouling and soft carbon but
also evaporates faster than anything on the market. It also leaves
no residue, is not water-based and is non-flammable.
